The configuration of JSON file is the first step in Dispatch for Loading Apex Sync Tool installation.
Note: The Service Technician has to update the required information in config.json file. The Dispatch for Loading Apex Sync Tool is installed on the same computer in which Apex is installed.
To update the config.json file, perform the following steps:
Navigate to the directory where the files are unzipped in the PC.
Locate the config.json file in the directory,
right click and select Open.
The configuration
file is opened.
Note:
The BaseURL is Apex Site URL and it changes for every site. Contact the Site Technician to get the BaseUrl of site, UserId and Password details.
If the Dispatch for Loading Apex Sync Tool and Apex is installed on the same computer, then the BaseURL is same as the Apex Site URL and verify the port number has not been changed from 8111.
If the Dispatch
for Loading Apex Sync Tool and Apex is installed on different
computer, then the BaseURL should be retrieved from one of the
following two locations:
Enter the unique
ID of jobsite created in Dispatch for Loading application in the place
of Site ID.
Note: The Site ID is auto-created
while creating a jobsite in Dispatch for Loading. Site
ID is retrieved from the Third Party Integration page.
Enter the apex
site identifier in the place of Apex
Location ID.
Note: The site technician is
to be contacted to know about the Location ID. The
Apex Location ID can be retrieved from any of the following page in
the Apex:
On the File Menu, click Save. The configuration details are saved.
